Are You tired of living with:
Fear At Work?

Too many EI employees are afraid:

• afraid of harrassment by managers.
• afraid of unfair discipline that might lead to their sudden
  termination or transfer to another job or shift.
• afraid of management reprisals if they want to discuss
  problems, with management.
• afraid to ask about their profit sharing or pay increases.

The root cause of all these fears is the same:

We don't have the legal rights and protection we need
in the form of a union contract.

Without Union representation, we'll always be victims
of rumors, uncertainty, arbitrary decisions,
and inconsistent treatment.

Which should we really fear:

The minimal risk of standing up for our rights and
forming a union? Or the far greater risks we run everyday
that we remain vulnerable to any "cost cutting" move or
personnel policy change that management wants to make;
i.e., suspended vacation time during holidays, and making
employees exempt from overtime pay?

With a union contract, we won't have to live and work
in this state of insecurity.
With a union contract, we won't have to rely on the
false security of management promises and assurances.
With a union contract, we'll have the resources, organization,
and backing we need to deal with management and the owners
as equals... informed, prepared, and unafraid!
