Union selects White as president | ||||||||||||||||||||||

The Broome-Tioga Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, has elected Rick White president of its organization. White also will remain an organizer at Communications Workers of America Local 1701/the Alliance@IBM in Endicott. Other newly elected officers to the Broome-Tioga Federation of Labor include: 1st Vice President Mary Whitmore CSEA, 2nd Vice President Lee Conrad CWA 1701, 3rd Vice President Robert Handzel UA, Secretary Burt Whiteman PEF , Treasurer John Hutchings LIUNA, Sergeant-at-Arms Luke Day UA, Trustees Pat Eggleston IAFF, Rick Hinckley IUPAT and John Makarowski IUOE; Reading and Roll Clerk Lynn Wool CSEA. The Broome-Tioga Federation of Labor represents more than 15,000 union members in Broome and Tioga counties.
