From its multinational structure, from its financial power and its importance, IBM is and always was one of the jewels of world capitalism.

All the IBM employees are subjected to the logic and the effects of the world wide logic.

The trade-union organizations quickly understand the need for reaching an International dimension to face world wide logic.

Trade-unionists, bound up, in all countries, developed the conscience of employees solidarity. Elsewhere, employees are individualized and lonesome, without influence, alienated to the unilateral decisions of the Company.

IWIS answer to the necessary Solidarity between the employees.
