Higher Education Scholarships Available

There are two higher education scholarships available to Alliance@IBM/CWA voting members and their families:

1.  "Union Plus Scholarship" for the 2002-2003 school year is open to union members, their spouses and children.  The program offers one-time cash grants of $500 to $4,000.  The deadline for applying is January 31, 2002.  You can read more and obtain an application by contacting our national office in Endicott (see Contact Us) or by downloading one from www.unionprivilege.org (click on "Benefit Programs").

2.  "CWA Joe Beirne Foundation Scholarship" for the 2002-2003 school year.  This is a partial college scholarship of up to $3,000 for CWA members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren.  Contact our office for details about the program and for an application form.  The deadline for applying is March 31, 2002.
